On Nov. 12, the Owatonna Girls Swim and Dive season ended for all except one diver, Sophomore Ali An. An placed 3rd at section finals meet with a score of 341. An said, “Season has been good, but there have been some ups and downs. I kept working hard and was determined to stay positive. My teammates were very encouraging throughout the season, which pushed me to work even harder.”

Throughout the season An has been consistently getting better. At Richfield An scored 350 for her 11 dives. An then scored 300 at couple weeks later at True Team and 310 at Big 9 on Oct. 28. Diving coach Ken Ringhofer said, “She is an extremely talented student. She has responded to multiple different coaches. She is extremely hard on herself, but extremely polished.” An will be competing at the AA state meet in Minneapolis at 6 p.m. at University of Minnesota on Nov. 16. Good Luck at state, Ali!
