Key to Success

October 20, 2014

Key Club is student-led, and is advised by Jennifer Herr. The club’s motto is “Caring – our way of life,” and they definitely live it out through the events they organize. The most recent was on October 13 and 14. It supported the Steele County Clothes Line. The volunteers sorted, sized and hung clothes for Steele County residents in need. Don’t feel like you missed out on anything though. There’s still time to sign up for Key Club just talk to Ms. Herr in room C-201 or Club President, Lindsey Neubauer, by the end of the month. The ‘Clothes Line’ happens every Monday and Tuesday for the next two months, and they would love your help.

The ‘Pumpkin Carving for Park Place Nursing Home,’ is just around the corner. It takes place Friday, October 17, at 10a.m. Key Club members who signed up will be going to the OHS to carve pumpkins for the Park Place Nursing Home.

These are some of the events Key Club participates in. There are still many more great things to come from Key Club, and remember it’s not too late to volunteer. Anyone at OHS can join Key Club, and they would love to have you!
