The Huskies football season has come to an end after a tough loss against St. Thomas Academy. The Team had a very successful and competitive season while meeting a lot of goals as a team and individually. Owatonna always puts the hammer down on and off the field, Senior captain Jacob Ginskey has shown this exactly by earning the honor of academic all state for the 2023 season. Mitch Seykora was selected to play in the All-State game at U.S. Bank Stadium. Seykora said, “It is a great honor to be selected and proves that your one of the best there is.” Nolan Ginskey also surpassed a school record receiving 1,194 yards and is now the OHS single season record holder. The Huskies finished their season with a record of 8-3, and finished as 1AAAA section champions.
