On Feb. 12, OHS’ Top 5 Snow Week royalty performed lip syncing skits at the pep fest. Candidates choreographed dances to songs like “Best Song Ever,” “Get Him Back” and “I’m Just Ken.” Following the dances, Justin Beman and Danika Ringhofer were crowned Snow Week King and Queen.

Raeghen Murry, photographer
Raeghen Murry is a senior at Owatonna High School. This is her second year being involved in Magnet. Murry is involved with Track and Field in the spring. She is also involved with her church and the youth ministry. In her free time, you can find her watching movies, hanging with friends and family. She joined magnet for photography but then found that doing the school paper was very exciting, and she liked how it was connected with the sport activities at the school. After high school Murry plans to go to college and major in photography and possibly start her own business.
Joanna Haggerty, Editor
Joanna Haggerty is a senior this year at OHS. This is her third year in Magnet. This year she is involved in DECA, Students for Life, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Girls tennis and NHS. Outside of school, Haggerty is a member of her church choir and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She will be attending Benedictine College in Kansas for International Business. Haggerty is involved in Magnet because she loves writing and representing the OHS school body through journalism.
Angel Barajas, Writer
Angel Barajas is a senior at OHS this year. This is his third year in Magnet. Barajas joined Magnet to be able to get out the news of what is happening around the OHS. Also his first year in Magnet was super fantastic and fun. Outside of school, Barajas is involved in football, and it is his first year in Student Council. His hobbies include working out, running, playing video games, and hanging out with family and friends. Barajas plans to graduate from high school and go to college for medical school and hopes to become a physician. Barajas is looking forward to a wonderful year in Magnet and getting the best out of it.
Amanda Clubb, Editor
Amanda Clubb is a senior at OHS this year. This is her third year on the Magnet staff. Clubb is involved in DECA, SHOC, NHS, band, orchestra, Students for Life, tennis and track. Outside of school, Clubb loves to read, play the flute and spend time with her family and friends. She joined Magnet because she loves to write and be involved at school. Clubb plans to study biology at a four-year university next year. She is excited to be a part of the OHS Magnet staff this year and is looking forward to her senior year.
