Homecoming Top 12 announced

Owatonna High School’s 2024 Homecoming Royalty was announced on Friday, Sept. 13.

The Top 12 King candidates are Tayte Berg, Blake Davison, Blake Fitcher, Nolan Ginskey, Elijah Grosland, Zach Haarstad, Jamie Lisowski, Finn Loveless, Thomas Oien, Darian Stransky, Luke Webber and Joe Zeman. 

The Top 13 Queen candidates are Addison Ahrens, Ellery Blacker, Amanda Clubb, Joanna Haggerty, Cora Hess, Nora Kath, Kennedy Katzung, Aza Lewis, Maryn Pool, Averie Roush, Isabella Schultz, Halle Theis and Kelli Waypa. 

Top 5 will be announced on Sept. 20 over the intercom after first hour. The king and queen will be crowned at coronation on Sept. 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the OHS auditorium. Homecoming week is Sept. 31 through Oct. 5. The Homecoming dance is on Saturday, Oct. 5 in the OHS gym at 9:00 p.m.

Ande Hunt is a junior this year at OHS, and this is her second year on the Magnet staff. She is involved in Student Council, Shoc, Big Brothers Big Sisters, marching band and Tennis. Outside of school, Hunt enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, shopping and works at Old Town Bagels. Hunt is also involved in her church. She chose to do Magnet again to work and improve her writing, editing and social media skills.
