Students at Owatonna High School are enjoying some great new drink spots. Sophomore at OHS Kate Cowell shares her thoughts on Scooters, “It is close to both school and my house, which is convenient.” Many students appreciate Scooters’ location as it is just a few minutes from the high school making it easy for them to visit before or after school. Another thing that students like about Scooters is the variety it offers. Sophia Guerrero, a sophomore at OHS said, “It has new drink options and different cold foam choices.” Overall, Scooters is a popular spot within the community as well as at OHS.
Along with Scooter’s just opening another coffee shop opened up, Dunkin Donuts. Both are a hit, but many students go wild over their A-plus coffees and famous donuts. Junior at OHS Christina Bell said, “Dunkin’ is much better, but it is also much cheaper.” Overall, Bell likes Dunkin not only because of its affordable prices but also because of its drinks and donuts. Whether getting a morning coffee or an afternoon treat. Students add Dunkin as a go-to spot for their pick-me-up.
With Dunkin’ and Scooters in town, students and community members have more variety in their favorite drinks or food items. These places have made a great impression and are quickly becoming popular for what they offer. These additions to Owatonna bring lots of excitement to the community and OHS students.
