In the year of 2025 there are many different hyped movies, spanning between all of the genres that will make this year a great year for movie lovers.
There are many horror movies coming out very soon like “Black Phone 2”, “The Monkey” and “28 Years Later.” “The Monkey,” directed by Osgood Perkin, is not exactly like the others because of its creativity in kills and its humor. This movie has a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 2.3 of 5 when it comes to the audience rating. The reviews and rating are mixed with bad thoughts and good thoughts, but everybody has their own preferences and this movie is a hit right now for horror lovers.
“A Minecraft Movie,” directed by Jared Hess, is a big movie releasing on April 4. A lot of people may be concerned over how well this movie is going to go, especially considering that it is based on arguably one of the greatest video games of all time. One of the starring actors is Jack Black, who recently also starred in another video game movie, “Super Mario Bros.” as the villain “Bowser.” However the internet is calling it out for the “ugly” style that it has.

“Superman: Legacy” directed by James Gunn is set to come out on July 11. A lot of people are really hyped for this movie, mostly because of DC’s past movies not being very great and because of who is directing it. Gunn is the same director for all three of the “Guardians Of The Galaxy” movies from the MCU, some of the top Marvel movies. However, at the same time, a lot of the internet is calling this Superman movie a huge downgrade from previous movies. Either way, the new Superman movie will definitely be quite the movie to see this year, especially for superhero fans.
“Five Nights At Freddy’s 2,” directed by Emma Tammi, obviously the sequel to the first “Five Nights At Freddy’s” which was not exactly what some people were expecting. “Five Nights At Freddy’s” is somewhat known for its gory aspects and the movie did not have any of that. They instead made it PG-13 as a lot of people were expecting a more bloody ending. However, considering everything else like the appearances of famous youtubers and hidden easter eggs, the movie was considerably high quality. Now that the makers know what the fans want, hopefully the second movie will have more of it.
Those are obviously just a few movies that many people already knew about but there are definitely a lot more movies that are worth looking into and even getting out of the house and watching them in the theaters.
