As the OHS Girls Basketball season is four games into the season, the girls’ minds are set on getting to the state tournament. The girls started their season with a record of 2-2, facing some tough opponents right off the bat. Head Coach Tricia Hoffman said, “The team is starting to talk a lot more on the floor and really starting to play well together. I think the players know that they have some very good talent and can play with any teams that we may face if they focus and work together.” With that, the team is looking to bounce back and even out their record against Faribault. Senior captain Carli Langeland said, “Some responsibilities are being a role model and leader to my team and the younger girls. An accomplishment we’d like to see would be to finish as one of the top three teams in the Big 9 this year.” Watch the girls on Friday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 P.M. at home against Northfield.
