Why to love valentine’s day
February 10, 2016
It is the only day in the year that a couple is able to display their love for each other publicly without feeling targeted as the only ones in love. It is the day that couples get to hang out, express their love for each other and have fun. Movie nights are planned as well as a date out in town or for the single men and women, a man’s day out or a women’s night out to hang with some friends. The fun is not limited to only couples and there are still love songs to listen and rock out to, like, Your Love (Hoodboi remix) by Alizzz or even Reforget by Lauv. There is no doubt that the best days to go shopping are after Valentine’s Day, because of the major sales stores have on Valentine’s Day gifts. It is the best time for couples to plan for next year and continue the celebration with their significant other with a movie night and a box of chocolates that cost half the price.
It is a day to spread the love around and spend the day with each other. The things to do are endless, like having a date night, staying home and watching movies, walk around somewhere and cherish the moments with a loved one. It is the one time of the year where many people participate in showing the ones they love how much they love them. And it is not limited to couples, but family members as well. Most people love chocolate, flowers and just overall gifts. Valentine’s Day is only one day of the year and then it ends. It is a day to celebrate and not sulk around for not having someone to celebrate this day with, because there is always family. Spending time with your significant other has the same significance as hanging out with family and means just as much. Make it a family night, play games, watch sappy love films and laugh. But in the end have fun and forget about this day being only for couples, because it is meant for everyone. It is just a regular day, but this day is where love should be spread around by both couples and family members. It is the day to share love.
