Offensive line taking control
After earning a first round bye in sectional play, the OHS football team played the Austin Packers and won 49-21, ending the Packer’s season. The Huskies had a strong first half, with the defense holding the Packers off and the offense dominating the field. When asked about their performance Saturday night, senior captain Andrew Stelter, Samuel Noeldner, Nicholas Rappe, Chase Wedin and Parker Hoen, all who were part of the offensive line, said “We played pretty well, but we can always do better.” After halftime the Packers offense picked up the pace by adding three touchdowns before the game ended. On Nov. 1 the Huskies will host Rochester Mayo at 7 p.m. The offensive line said, “We all need to execute our jobs to give us a chance to get a win.” If the Huskies win they will next play Nov. 7 at Lakeville North.
