With the OHS Girls Basketball regular season coming to an end, the team is sitting at a solid record of 13-9. They team   has had some tough battles throughout the season, some going their way and some not. Head coach, Tricia Hoffman said, “The girls want to finish the season 5-0 and secure the number five seed going into sections. We will be looking for an “upset” in the first round of sections so we get a chance to play at the Civic Center.” The girls have had a very good outing at home this season with a home game record of 6-3. The girls are very confident with the way their season has been going and with the season almost over, the girls are looking to secure the number five seed by finishing the year strong. Senior Captain, Rachel Williamson said, “I’d say we all feel pretty confident going into sections, we are positioned in the tournament where we’ll play a top team and we are hoping to pull off an upset.” Come out and support the girls at home as they close out the season on Thursday Feb. 25 vs. Mankato West at 7:30 p.m.
