Magnet March Madness Contest Rules
Pick up your bracket in the commons on Monday, March 14 during lunches and after school. Turn into B 103 by Thursday, March 17 by 8 a.m.

Rules for 2016 Magnet NCAA March Madness Bracket Contest:
- Only OHS students and staff are allowed to participate.
- Each participant is only allowed to fill out one single bracket.
- All brackets must be turned in by Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 8 a.m. to the Magnet Newsroom (B-103) or in Wagner’s mailbox.
- Magnet staff will keep track of each bracket’s total points scored.
- This is free for OHS students and staff.
Scoring will be done as followed:
- Play in games do not count towards total score. Correctly guessing a winning team from the first round of 64 teams will result in 1 point per team correct.
- From there, each team guessed correctly will result in an additional point for each round per team (2 points for second round, 4 points for Sweet Sixteen, 8 points for Elite Eight,16 points for Final Four, and 32 points for correctly guessing the two teams in the championship game).
- Correctly guessing the champion of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship will award the indival 64 points.
- Correctly guessing the exact score of the Championship game will result in the reward of 15 additional points and serves as a tie-breaker (Championship game winning score).
- The three brackets that score the most points will win a t-shirt that gives the wearer bragging rights (donated by Court Sports).
- Top scoring brackets will be announced after each round via twitter (@ohsmagnet).
- The top three winners will be announced within 24 hours after championship game results.
- Magnet staff is excluded from participating in this contest.
