Why did you decide to start teaching?

I knew from when I was in kindergarten that I wanted to be a teacher. When I was in college, I had to make the difficult decision of if I wanted to teach high school or elementary. I had some great high school teachers and was inspired to be like them!

What is your favorite part about teaching?

The kids! Everyday my students make me laugh and I love coming to work everyday to see all of my great students whom I consider my friends!

Best memory as a teacher?

Getting to come back to OHS and teach in my hometown and coach cheerleading here as well. It’s the best!
