Mr. Marty Johnson
Mr. Marty Johnson graduated college with a degree in commercial art and art education. Then he became an art teacher in South Dakota. After some time teaching, he decided to teach tennis at private clubs and country clubs. Impressively, he recently taught, assistant coached, and ran the tennis facilities at Cornell University in New York. After this great experience, Mr. Johnson moved back to Minnesota to spend more time with his grandkids.
Mr. Johnson’s wife is a professor at St. Olaf in Northfield. Mr. Johnson, still wanting to work, searched for employment close to Northfield. The Owatonna High School was the place for him. Mr. Johnson commented on what he likes to do, “I love being in tennis, and in art to help others to be successful”. Mr. Johnson is a great addition to the OHS staff, and we are excited to see him enhance our already excellent art program.
