Ms. Casie DeVos

Ms. DeVos has been hired as a new social worker here at OHS. Currently, Ms. DeVos lives in Waseca, so she has to commute to school every morning. Before becoming a school social worker, she worked as a social worker for the South Central Human Relations Center. Her career has been focused primarily on people between the ages of five and 21 who have had emotional disturbance(s) in their life.

Ms. DeVos said, “I wanted to come to a school because being in a school environment is so inclusive and I wanted to work with students.” Ms. DeVos received her undergraduate degree from SMSU, and her masters in social work from MSU. Ms. DeVos is energetic, passionate, and determined to be an excellent addition to the staff here at OHS. So far, the transition to OHS has been enjoyable. We would like to welcome Ms. DeVos to the OHS staff, she is a great addition!
