Ms. Ashley Kaplan

Mrs. Ashley Kaplan is a social studies teacher here at OHS that has been teaching for nine years. However, she is new to OHS. Mrs. Kaplan first two years of teaching were spent in Eden Prairie. After teaching in Eden Prairie, she moved to Alaska and taught for two more years. Previously she had been a teacher and a instructional coach in Fairmont school district.

Mrs. Kaplan teaches ninth grade avid, ninth grade enriched social studies, and tenth grade enriched american history. Mrs. Kaplan had this to say about why she moved to Owatonna, “I have been interested in coming to Owatonna for a couple of years now, since my husband graduated from here.” Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two year old son and one year old daughter. She also likes to hang out with friends. Mrs. Kaplan can be found in E-306.
