Mr. Arnold Zuniga
Mr. Zuniga is the new Hispanic liaison also known as a success coach at OHS. Mr. Zuniga is looking forward to working here, “I want to help kids improve in their English language and help them succeed in life.” For that reason, he also desired becoming a teacher. Mr. Zuniga went to Riverland Community College, but he finished his degree at the Rochester Community College.
He was interested in coming to OHS, “Because Owatonna is a great community.” Previously, he worked as deputy sheriff for the Freeborn county sheriff’s office for about 11 years. Mr. Zuniga had this to say about his career change, “Then I decided to start a new career due to injuries from the previous job.” His career change brought his interest to OHS. Outside of his career, he enjoys watching and playing basketball, football, and other sports with his three kids. He also enjoys going camping, fishing, and lifting weights.
