On Dec. 13 the Owatonna boys basketball team beat the Albert Lea Tigers 65-44. The Huskies were led by senior captain Samuel Fenske, who had 20 points in the game. Senior captain Ian Langeberg led the team with nine rebounds and six points. When asked about how the game went Friday Langeberg said, “It went well. We finally started shooting a little better and we’re improving every day.” On Dec. 19 the team hosts Shakopee in a non-conference game at 7:30 p.m. Fenske said, “Should be a highly competitive game, they have a couple returning starters, and are very strong and quick. We should match up well with them.” The Huskies also host Rochester Century Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
