Snow Week King and Queen crowned

OHS gathered on Wednesday, Feb. 14 to crown the 2018 Snow Week King and Queen. The pepfest included a performance by Owatonna Cheer, captain updates from sports and the traditional tug of war competition. The seniors won the first round to go against the teachers in the end. The pepfest concluded with the actual crowning of the new king and queen. Sheldon Jensen and Greta Jacobson will hold that honor for the class of 2018. Jensen said, “I’m going to Disneyland!” Newly crowned queen Jacobson said,”I’m surprised that people responded so well to my skit and that they respect me as their peer and someone who can represent their class.”
Snow Week continues with Basketball Extravaganza Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. and the Sadies dance on Friday at 9 p.m.
