Mr. Keller

Joining the OHS Math department this year is Mr. Tyler Keller, who grew up in Medford, Minnesota. During his junior year of high school he determined that math teacher was his calling. Mr. Keller’s favorite subjects in high school were math and biology, and both give an insight to his love for equations and problem solving.

After high school he attended Minnesota State, Mankato where he recently received his math degree. Last year, Mr. Keller student taught at OHS with former math teacher, Mr. Marc Achterkirch. Mr. Keller said, “I chose Owatonna because I was already familiar with the school and some of the students. It just felt like the right place for me.” Mr. Keller is the coach of the B – Squad wrestling team in the winter and the ninth grade baseball team in the spring. He is very excited about the school year and getting more involved.
