Nets beware
April 1, 2019
Senior Skyler Eaton is one of the most dominant lacrosse players approaching the 2019 season. Eaton has been involved in lacrosse since fourth grade, scoring goal after goal, and leading her to be one the most dangerous offensive weapons in the Big Nine. Eaton is entering the season unsigned, but many colleges will be watching her this year, because of her potential for playing at the next level.
With all the pressure in performing for scholarships and meeting her level of success in the past, she stays very humble entering this spring season. Eaton said, “I can’t wait for the up and coming season and playing with all my friends and teammates. I really enjoy the sport which makes me eager to get back on the field and work to become a better player.” Eaton is known for showing her work ethic on the field with great attitude and class.
With the season right around the corner, Eaton is ready to work and better herself. Head coach, Dan Paur said, “Skyler is a great student-athlete. She has really come into her own as a lacrosse player the last two years. She is a great teammate, leader and a dynamic scorer. I’m looking forward to her having another great season.” Make sure to come out and support her and the team this spring as she rips up the nets. The Owatonna varsity lacrosse team is home vs. Northfield on Monday, April 15 at 7:15 p.m.
