Springing on to the dance floor
April 26, 2019
Due to the cancellation of the snow week activities, the OHS Student Council rescheduled the dance to Friday, April 26 at OHS. The students are going crazy over this dance because of the lack of dances these past few months.OHS student council adviser Ms. Sandra Justice said, “It’s great to be back after all the poor weather and get together for a great time as a school.”Named the Spring Fling dance, it will be featuring one of the most requested items: the black lights. Students that wear neon will be able to glow and shine on the dance floor.
Dances are a great way to support the school and have fun. Sophomore dance coordinator Sarah Kingland said, “It’s a special dance because it helps the school and student council, and it’s a great way to connect with people.” Admission is $5 and student’s ID is required to get in. The dance will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight in the OHS Cafeteria. The dance is open to all students 9-12.
