Mr. Miron
Meet Mr. Miron, a new Spanish teacher at OHS. He attended Rochester Mayo High School and went on to attend Benedictine College in Kansas, where he got his bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education and Secondary Education. This will be his first year teaching, and he will be teaching Spanish I and Spanish II at OHS. Mr. Miron decided to join the OHS Staff because he heard it was a good school, he is closer to home now and he has family in town that he wants to get closer with. Mr. Miron became a teacher because he is passionate about giving students the chance to learn. Mr. Miron said, “I feel like teaching is a profession where you can make a difference.”
In Mr. Miron’s free time, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, going downhill skiing, playing volleyball and watching crime shows. Mr. Miron said, “Some goals I have for this year are for all of my students to develop an appreciation for different cultures and to grow a love and knowledge of Spanish.” Mr. Miron is excited to be apart of the staff and looking forward to a great school year at OHS.
