Christmas is a time to get together with friends and family to celebrate and spend time with loved ones. There are many different things people love about Christmas. From parties and festivities to getting together with family and eating a lot of food together, most people can agree that giving and receiving presents is the best part. It does not matter how old someone is, almost everybody enjoys getting presents. That being said, it can be challenging to get gifts for friends or family when a student does not have extensive funds. A high school student with a job may not be earning that much depending on what their job is. Needing to spend money on gas and food or any extracurricular activities can consume an ample amount of a student’s funds. This leaves little spending money on Christmas gifts. But luckily, there are places like Target, Walmart, Amazon, Old Navy and Bath & Body Works.

Target is a one-stop-shop with plenty of affordable Christmas gifts for everyone in a friend group or family. These things can vary from clothes to makeup sets, accessories, books, movies and toys. Senior Kaitlyn Struz said, “I love Target because you don’t even need a shopping list. You walk into Target and Target tells you what you need.” Target has quality products for low prices that will suit one’s every need, and Walmart also has very low prices for products.

Although they may have fewer Christmas gift sets to buy, they have a variety of things from cute sweaters to stuffed animals. Some things that may be nice to include are decorations, fuzzy socks, blankets and more. Amazon is another great place that has quite literally everything anyone could ever need to create a good gift. Amazon can be tricky, with a variety of sellers, products, prices and other details, so one might have to do a bit of digging to find the perfect gift for the right price. But overall, Amazon has so many gift possibilities for whatever one may need. Whether someone looking for classy, quirky, silly or heartfelt gifts, Amazon is the place to go.

Bath & Body Works and Old Navy are typically more expensive places to shop compared to Target or Walmart, but during the holiday season, these stores have a plethora of sales to make these gifts affordable. Struz said, “I personally love Bath & Body Works because there are so many options and lots of great deals.” Bath & Body Works often has gift sets around the holiday season as well as products for 20% off, 50% off, 75% off and sometimes more. These products become amazing gifts for any mom, sibling, aunt or friend.

At Old Navy during the holiday season, one of the first things to go on sale is their soft and warm fuzzy socks. These socks come in a wide variety of sizes, fun colors and designs and they are extremely cheap. Senior and Old Navy Employee Logan Risch said, “Last minute shopping is the best time to get Christmas stuff because stores are trying to get rid of it and there is always something on sale.” When shopping for a family member, friend or secret Santa, Old Navy is a great place to go. They have a variety of cute sweaters, pajama sets, flannels and t-shirts at affordable prices for anyone searching for the perfect gift.

All of these places are great options for anyone searching for personal, affordable gifts for anyone and everyone this holiday season.
