She shoots, she scores!
With a record of 10-6-2, the girl’s hockey season came to an end with a loss to Dodge County, but finished with a winning season. “[The season] was pretty good. We were kind of shaky at the beginning, but I think as we really pulled together as a team towards the end of the season,” said senior co-captain Payton Noble. She is joined by seniors Paige Radue and Abby Sawyer. Girl’s hockey included many tournaments at home, as well as some away. When asked about what she was most proud of on the season, Noble said, “Just the bonds and the relationships between the girls. Usually there’s a lot of fighting, and we don’t usually get along, but we had a really close team this year.” Girl’s hockey will resume next year with hopes of having another great season.
