As the Owatonna Wrestling team prepares for their first trip to the state tournament in three years, there are many things fans will need to know. The state wrestling meet will be held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020. The doors to the arena will be opening at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. Matches will begin around 9:00 a.m., and there will be two separate sessions on the day. There are a few major things that Owatonna fans should know.

Fan parking is quite simple. With parking ramps located all around the arena, the easiest ramp to park at is the RiverCentre ramp. There will be student fan buses going up on Thursday, but no buses will be open to the public. When entering the arena, backpacks and purses will not be allowed in; however, clear bags and single compartment drawstring backpacks are allowed into the arena. Other food and drinks are also not allowed into the stadium when entering.

Ticket prices for a single session will be $16 for adults and $10 for students K-12. Advance ticket buying will be held Monday, Feb. 24 – Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. at the Owatonna High School outside of the auditorium. There will be no senior citizen discounts, and all children not yet in school will be admitted free. Fans that plan on leaving and re-entering will have to pay to get back in. Tickets may also be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center ticket gates on Thursday, Feb. 27 at the time of the event.
