Breakfast from the farm
For more than 20 years the OHS FFA has had an annual Appreciation Breakfast during National FFA week. This year it was on Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Agricultural Shop and in room V-103. FFA Advisor Mrs. Elizabeth Tinaglia said, “The purpose is to recognize Agricultural education and to thank FFA supporters.” They served muffins, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, string cheese, milk, juice and coffee. A lot of preparation goes into the breakfast every year so that it is a success. Teachers, parents of FFA members, local Ag businesses, school board members, 761 foundation members, and community supporters are all invited to the breakfast. Throughout FFA week, the FFA members participate in many activities including going to the elementary schools during lunch as well as going to Culvers to work an all-you-can-eat chicken supper to help thank the supporters of FFA. The all-you-can-eat Culvers supper has been postponed due to snow days and will be happening on Thursday, March 20.
4H and FFA are my two biggest activities. I'm also a Youth Leader at church.
