Watching Christmas movies is a big part of the holiday season. One of the best ways to get into the Christmas spirit is to sit down in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate, a nice warm blanket and turn on a favorite Christmas movie. One of the top charting Christmas movies is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. This movie has really stood the test of time throughout the years. It topped the charts the day that it was released. It also held the record for the highest grossing opening weekend for a Christmas movie for 18 years. The Grinch has made the most money out of any Christmas movie of all time, making it one of the best.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a children’s movie starring Jim Carrey and was published in the year 2000. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” starts off near a small town called Whoville filled with many joyous people who had lots of Christmas spirit. The main character, the Grinch, is anti-Christmas. When he was young, he had a traumatic experience around Christmas which made him hate it. While all of Whoville was taking part in Christmas activities, the Grinch was in his house plotting how to get his revenge on Christmas. When all of the Who’s go to sleep the Grinch and his dog Max set out to steal Christmas. They steal Christmas trees, decorations, gifts and more. Whoville becomes united from the tragedy and they do their best to make a change and fix Christmas.

“The Grinch is a classic, you need to watch it at least once a year.”
