The week of Dec. 5-9 at OHS has been jam-packed with events of all kinds. Starting off the week on Monday, OHS kicked off the holiday season with their winter concert. Carolers, concert choir and symphony orchestra performed at the concert. Along with the winter concert carolers also performed at businesses around town and for Big Brothers -Big Sisters. 

Sports this week saw home games Tuesday and Thursday. With wins for wrestling and girls basketball and boys basketball. There were losses for girls hockey and boys swim and dive.

This week: NHS’s nine days of giving kicked off this week and will continue until December 22. NHS has a meeting this Wednesday. OHS staff continues to raise money for families for the Christmas season. The carolers will be around town at various businesses on December 12, 14, and 18. Home events for the week starting on Tuesday, Dec. 13, the boys hockey team play Albert Lea starting at 7 p.m. and girls basketball plays Rochester Century at 7:30. Boys swim and dive competes at 6:30 on Thursday vs. Faribault. On Friday the boys basketball closes out the week with a home game vs. Austin starting at 7:30 p.m.
