Creed III knocks out the box office

“Creed III” is a story continuation from the “Rocky” franchise. In the Creed movies, Adonis Creed (son of Apollo Creed) starts boxing and goes through many hardships to find a family and eventually win the world heavyweight championship.

In “Creed III,” Adonis Creed (played by, Michael B. Jordan) retires ending his career world heavyweight championship. But is soon met by an old friend, Dame, that is coming back from prison due to an altercation that Creed and Dame had when they were younger. 

Dame goes behind Creed’s back and makes sure he has a shot at the title by injuring the fighter that was supposed to fight the person that Creed is promoting for the fight. In this fight, Dame wins by fighting cheaply and becomes the new heavyweight champion.

After this occurs the two friends will argue and Creed knows he has to fight Dame to take the title back. After a long training period and finding out who he is Creed ends up fighting Dame for the world championship. Watch “Creed III” to find out who won. 

This movie did a great job showing where Creed came from and why he became a boxer. And the experiences he went through to get to where he is now.
