On Monday March 19th,  Knowledge Bowl was held in regions and many had nerves and excitement to see if they could excel to the next level which is State on April 13-14.

One team in particular has done outstanding and really raised the bar high for the other team in competition. They all work very well together and know each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

This year’s top team for Knowledge Bowl is San De Boeuf ( OxBlood ) in French. The team members are Lileigh Nguyen, David Smith, Gavin Caron, Aiden Engel, and Henry Bon.

Coach Dan Saehler said, “ They have this insane team chemistry that other teams are working up to getting.” They all know each other’s weaknesses and strengths and that leads to many victories throughout the season.

David Smith is one of the members of the San De Boeuf team that will be competing in regions. The top two teams will make it to state.

Smith said, “We feel pretty good about regions, we have been doing normal practices against the other team for better competition so we are ready.”

Many people are very excited to see what they can bring to the table again after getting second place at state last year.

On Monday, March 19th San De Boeuf team took first place in regions and now they are progressing to go to state. Their team chemistry was really strong  and they capitalized on their strengths during competitions. We are very excited for them to see what they can bring to the table at state and wish them the best of luck. State is April 13-14.
