Spalsh into spring with art
This year, the Art Splash will be held at Central Park Coffee from 7-9 pm on Friday, April 9. The Art Splash features talented OHS student artists as well as OHS music students who will have the chance to perform. Audience members will have the opportunity to walk around and view the art, as well as watch the performances. There is no cost to attend, however, buying coffee or a smoothie is highly encouraged. The Art Splash is a fun way to support the future artists and musicians of the OHS. This event is put on by the Student Council and the Art Splash committee chairs. Committee chair Emma Smith said, “There are many talented students at the high school who don’t always get to exhibit their talent. The Art Splash is a cool way to support our peers.” This event is a fun and low pressure setting for the students of the high school to display their talent. The Art Splash is also a great way for students to support both their artistically and musically gifted classmates.
