Magnet Staff, OHS Tradition
The Magnet staff is a delightful circus of quirky personalities. The reporters are always lurking near the drama club or cafeteria, eavesdropping for worthy quotes. Armed with spirals and pens, they treat every minor school event like it’s breaking news. The editors are grammar warriors, fixing comma splices with an intensity usually reserved for escape rooms. They can sniff out a typo from across the room, and nothing makes them happier than a perfectly placed em dash. Then there’s the photographer, forever crouched awkwardly in hallways, trying to capture a "natural" candid while no one notices their giant camera. The layout designers? Well, they’re basically wizards, turning chaos into order with fonts and grids, grumbling about spacing issues only they can see. Together, we form a chaotic newsroom full of deadlines, drama, and just the right amount of caffeine and Frooties.
