Running out of time
Seth Huseby goes to the State Cross Country meet for his third appearance
Senior Seth Huseby has gone to state for cross country before with his team during his freshman and sophomore years of high school, but this time it is different. As a senior, Huseby qualified for State as an individual and will compete Saturday, Nov 1. “Things started out rough, but I had my best sections so far,” said Huseby. He has been on the team for six years. Over that time he knew he had a lot of talent, and potential, but he has not spent much time truly working toward cross country until last year. This year he had a drive that made him really work at going to state. Coach Chatelaine said, “Seth ran a great race at the section meet. He has run a couple of good workouts this week and seems to be in peak shape which will hopefully lead to an outstanding performance at state. Seth’s goal is to finish in the top 25 places which would earn him all-state honors.” For those who are interested in supporting Huseby, he will be running at St. Olaf College in Northfield, at 1:00 p.m.
