Boys hockey off to a great start
The Owatonna Boys Hockey team has had a slow start to their season, losing 4-2 and 6-1 against Rochester Mayo and Rochester Century.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Four Seasons Center, the Huskies played Rochester John Marshall winning 5-4. This was the Huskies first win of the season.On Saturday, Dec. 6, the team played Winona, winning in overtime 6-5 for the team’s second win of the season. Thursday, Dec. 11, the boys played Faribault, but lost 3-2. It appeared the team was again having a tough time. The team’s next game was played against Chaska on Tuesday, Dec. 16. They were not expected to win, however, the team upset Chaska and won 5-2. Junior Sam Hylle had an assist. He said, “We’re finally coming together at a team and working to accomplish goals.” The team’s next game will be on Saturday, Dec. 20 against St. Paul Academy and Summit.
