Hoopin’ it Up

Owatonna boys varsity basketball is not off to the start they had hoped for. Their most recent game resulted in a loss
to JM at home, 86-51. When asked what the Huskies need to do for their upcoming game against Winona, senior Daniel Boubin said, “We need to make smarter decisions with the ball to limit our turnovers and make the extra pass of offense.” Head Coach Josh Williams said that was the key as well, “We have to take care of the ball and not let the opposing team get easy buckets and more opportunities to score.” The Huskies defense is fine, but the offense needs to find itself. Owatonna is very confident they can fix that problem, which should lead to more wins. They next play at Winona on Friday, December 12th, at 7:30 p.m.
