This morning, the announcement of the Top 12 took place in the gym. The theme this year is “Sugar Rush”. The upcoming events are sure to spark school spirit. Snow Week will take place from February 2nd through the 6th.

There are some important activities coming up before snow week that need to be remembered!

• Tuesday, Jan. 20: Seniors vote for Top 5 Candidates
• Friday, Jan. 23: Announce Top 5 Candidates: 7:45 A.M. in the gymnasium
• Monday, Jan. 26: Volleyball Extravaganza Waivers due to Mrs. Haugen
• Friday, Jan. 30: Pepfest — Top 5 skits at 9:20 A.M. in the gym

– Snow week Volleyball Extravaganza at 8:00 P.M. in the OHS gym. Admission is $1 for the Lily Sparrow House of Owatonna

• Tuesday, Feb. 3:

– Hershey’s — All American Day

– Lunch activity: “Oreo Cookie Challenge”

– All students vote for Snow King and Queen

• Wednesday Feb. 4:

– Baby Ruth — Jersey Day

– Lunch activity “Candy Eating Contest”

• Thursday, Feb. 5:

– Jolly Rancher — Western Day

– Lunch activity: “Candy Tasting”

• Friday, Feb. 6:

– Tonna’s Original — Blue and Silver Day

– Lunch activity: “Candy Crush”

– Snow Week Coronation pepfest: OHS gym at 9:22 A.M.

– Snow Week dance: 9 P.M. -to midnight in the OHS lower commons. OHS students only. Admission: $5, student ID will be required.
