The Owatonna High School Gymnastics team took on Rochester Century, John Marshall and Mayo last night at the Owatonna Gymnastics Club. The Huskies went into the night coming off of a big first place finish in Jackson, MN last week over six other teams. OHS senior and captain Tatelyn Blazek commented on the team’s progress throughout this season, “We started out pretty rocky, but we have come a long way.” Blazek joins junior Steph Kretlow as co-captain  and teammate. Kretlow said, “We are very hopeful for a state tournament appearance this year.”  The Huskies have one more meet against Austin before they compete in the Big-9 tournament on Feb. 7.
