Kacy Borwege guarding the goal

Owatonna girls hockey team faced Lakeville North on Feb 4 ending their season overall record of 14-12. The team will say goodbye to three graduating seniors, Kacy Borwege (Goalie), Katie Johnson (Defense), and Mariah Jorgensen (Forward). This year’s team really had a great group of girls who all connected very well and worked great as a team. “Next season goals are working hard over the summer and relying on new players to fill important roles,” said assistant coach Joel Tornell. Even though the season is over the team will always have great memories together. Captain Kacy Borwege reflected and would advise the players for next year to, “You all grew up playing together, so live these next years you have together to the fullest!”
