Robotics headed to the State Tournament
On May 16 at Williams Arena in Minneapolis at 8:45 a.m. the OHS Robotics Team will be gearing up to compete for their third consecutive state competition. The event is scheduled to run until 4 p.m. but could go later. Robotics Admiral Donovan Simonson said, “I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with, everyone brings their own special skill set, everyone works well with each other. We made an amazing robot, and it has become a family. It’s going to be hard to leave this team, but I can’t wait to see the great things they will do next year!”
While the team waits for the competition, the team has a collective six hours to work on the robot. After that, the robot will continue to be bagged and tagged. This means it will be unable to be modified or worked on. Go and cheer for the team on May 16 during the matches!
