The Owatonna girls track team is on their final leg of their season. “The season has been good, we have had less meets than expected because of weather complications, but we are making the most of every meet we have,” said senior captain Morgan Malo. The team had their “True Team” meet on Tuesday where they placed seven out of 10 teams. “We had some really nice performances, our 4×8 took first, and our 4×1 tied for second. It was a good team experience,” said head coach Ann Christensen. The team is focused heading into the last few weeks of the season. Malo said, “We are really focusing in on placing towards the top of the Big 9 and head into sections with some good momentum. The True Team performances helped with that!” Their next home meet is May 12, at 4:30 PM, at the Owatonna High School.
