Championship Game on Saturday, Nov. 24 4 p.m. US Bank

Owatonna Football will play the St. Thomas Academy on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. at U.S.  The Huskies will be the visitor side for the championship game. Students are sections 106 & 107 and behind the band in 105.  Owatonna Fans have been designated section V1-V5.  Fans are to bring the “Sea of Blue” to US BANK.

Welcome Home Celebration

There will be a “Welcome Home” for the team in the OHS Auditorium.  KRFO’s Roy Koenigsberg will be emceeing, the Owatonna Pep Band and Cheerleaders will help celebrate the team.   The main doors and tennis court doors will be open.  Tentative time is 9 p.m. please follow OHS Magnet Facebook and Twitter (@ohsmagnet) for  finalized time after the game.


Important US BANK information

  • Tickets sales for the championship game will be available online and at the U.S bank Stadium prior to the game. Tickets will not be sold at OHS.
  • Game will be hosted at the U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Minnesota.
    • 401 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55415
  • The game will start at 4 p.m. (At earliest– start time may be later based on previous games).
  • Tickets for the game are $10 per student. Adult Tickets are $16 each.
  • Huskies are to sit in on the visitor side.

UPDATED: Community Bus-

Reid Stransky and Todd Walkingstick are organizing community buses.   The cost is $20/ person at the bus.  Park on the east side of the football field by 1:30. Two coach buses have been ordered. The first 110 people to sign up can ride the coach.  Additional school buses will be ordered by demand.   Buses will depart at 1:45 for a 3 p.m. US Bank arrival.  Walkingstick said, “Our goal is to make the purple seats blue.”  Saturday, Nov. 24 UPDATE:  There are 25 seats left on the community bus and will be available at a first come first serve basis.

Driving on own

Parking is an additional cost. Light Rail stations are also an option.  There is not a student fan bus.

Cheering from home

KRFO will be carrying the game on 104.9 (Kat Kountry).
