The OHS Boys Lacrosse team is nearing the end of their season full of momentum. They have a current record of 11-2 and are first in the Big 9 conference. In the team’s most recent game they won 21-11 against New Prague.

The boys are playing their best leading up to sections, they are aiming for the fourth seed or better in sections to earn a home game. Senior Captain Caleb Belting said, “I thought we played our best game this year against Northfield. We need to play like we did against them from now on.”

The boys have been practicing hard for the section tournament. Head coach, Scott Seykora said, “Consistency is the key to having a successful post-season.  We have battled hard every game and played team lacrosse and as long as we continue to trust each other on the field we will be successful.”

With an aggressive offense and well-rounded defense, the OHS Boys Lacrosse team has the potential to extend their season and have a successful run in sections. Sections begin Wednesday, June 2.
