The  Owatonna Boys Cross Country season is coming to an end. With only two meets left, the team is looking pretty good, taking fifth place amongst the 10 teams in the Owatonna Boys Varsity Invite on Oct. 6. The Huskies’ captains all finished among the top runners but it was not enough to win the meet. Senior captain Braydon Kubat talks about his team’s performance, “The team is confident, and that’s what we need at this point. We have slipped a little in our placement in the Big 9 Conference and sections but we are doing everything we can for the next two meets.” Their latest meet, taking place on Oct. 11, resulted in the Huskies increasing their standing among the other teams. The Huskies will continue their season in the Big 9 conference meet on Oct. 18. Good luck to all of the boys as they prepare for the post season.
