October festivities with Key Club

Key Club is a group of students who volunteer to help out in the community. Ms. Jennifer Herr, head of the club, said, “Basically it’s a group for the community.” The Key Club has a few events coming up this month. One of the events will be the Night Club Halloween Event on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 6:30-8:30 pm at the West Hills Senior Place. Another event is the Adopt-A-Highway clean up with the Steele County Humane Society on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 9 am at the Chamber of Commerce. Key Club will also be carving pumpkins and giving them to nursing homes to, “Give more cheer” said Ms. Herr. Key Club meets Monday and Tuesday at 7:40 a.m. C-201.
