Lauren Waypa, Writer
Lauren Waypa is a senior at the Owatonna High School and next year plans to go to college for
elementary education. Waypa is involved in soccer, track, NHS, orchestra, dinner ensemble, key
club, and SHOC. In soccer, Waypa plays in the midfield and loves the team atmosphere. In
track this year she is one of the three captains for the girls team and she is a sprinter and
jumper. Waypa loves spending time with her friends and family by being outside and trying new
things. Waypa joined Magnet to help bring out the student voices around the school and to bring
out stylistic creativity.
