Rolando Maya, Writer
Rolando Maya is a senior at the OHS this year. This will be his first year with the Magnet staff. Maya joined Magnet so he could learn the process of how news and stories are collected and then published to the public. Another reason being for the joining of Maya is the strategy and practices used to interview people. Outside of school, Maya is involved in soccer and his church. His hobbies include playing video games, reading, and hanging out with friends. A huge goal for Maya regarding his future career is to go to a four year university to pursue a degree in meteorology. Maya is hoping for a good year in Magnet, to improve his writing and journalism skills.
